M204.1544  LEVEL must be between 0 and 255

The LEVEL option of the DEFINE command lets you indicate the security level for the field being defined. The range of acceptable values for LEVEL is 0 to 255.

Response: Correct the value of LEVEL, and retry.

RETCODEB=4	Sets batch (single user) return code
CLASS=E	Error class; the message can be suppressed with the X'04' bit setting of the MSGCTL parameter
AUDITER	Writes the message with line type ER to the audit trail
COUNT	Increments the error count (ERCNT) parameter
