M204.1757  Invalid numeric edit pattern (token): extra character(s) at end

The edit pattern specified for $EditN contains characters that follow one of these trailing sign characters or pairs:

+ - CR DB

Trailing sign characters must be the last characters in the edit pattern.

Response: Remove all characters that follow the trailing sign character.

CLASS=E	Error class; the message can be suppressed with the X'04' bit setting of the MSGCTL parameter
