MSIR.0386 SSL input message too long - increase SSLBSIZE
This message indicates that an encrypted incoming message on an SSL-protected port exceeded the size of the SSL input buffer.
The SSL input buffer is set directly with the Janus SSLIBSIZE parameter, or indirectly with the SSLBSIZE parameter which sets both SSLIBSIZE and SSLOBSIZE simultaneously.
Since many HTTPS clients provide no control over the SSL block size, the largest block size allowed is typically used (as high as 32760 bytes) if a request warrants it.
If a secure port is being used for file uploads, the input buffer size specified on the JANUS DEFINE command will almost certainly need to be set to 32760. Otherwise, the SSLBSIZE must be set to the size of the largest expected form request, which means that it should probably be a few hundred larger than the RBSIZE specified for the port.
Note: For Model 204 version 7.5 and above, the input buffer size, SSLIBSIZE, can only be set larger than 16K if CUSTOM=18 is also set. See the discussion on the SSLIBSIZE (JANUS DEFINE parameter) page for further information.
