This message is issued when an error occurs while parsing an XML document, and the cause of the error is such that diagnosis might require examination of the hexadecimal content of the input string.

MSIR.0712 is always issued as three consecutive messages, with C_or_X indicating the raw or hexadecimal representation, and XML document fragment containing the respective raw, first digit, or second digit of the entire XML document, or a portion of it near the point at which an error was discovered:

C
The input in raw form, one byte per column.
X
The corresponding first hexadecimal digits of the input.
X
The corresponding second hexadecimal digits of the input.

The reason for the error is explained in message MSIR.0710, which is issued prior to message MSIR.0712. Also, message MSIR.0709 will follow message MSIR.0712, and it will consist of a vertical bar (|) underneath the byte displayed in MSIR.0712 that is at or near the error.

This is an informational message and is not displayed on the user's terminal.
