MSIR.0981  Enhancement methods token

This error usually results from an incorrect declaration or invocation of an enhancement method. The following examples are amongst the texts that might appear with this message:

  • An enhancement method isn't declared in either the public shared or private shared block of a class, in which case the following message is produced:

    MSIR.0981: Enhancement methods must be in a shared block

  • An enhancement method cannot be declared as a constructor - only subroutines, functions, or properties are allowed. In this case the following message is produced

    MSIR.0981: Enhancement methods cannot be constructors
